Indications

Decand is a supplement based on Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Fermented Saccharomyces cerevisiae or brewer's yeast is used as an adjuvant in acne and dermatitis and for its antioxidant and immunostimulant effects (Jensen et al., 2011; Moyad et al., 2010). In particular, beta-glucan extracted from S. cerevisiae cells has proven to be a highly immunologically active molecule. It would in fact be involved in the processes of innate immunity (activation of particular cells such as macrophages, neutrophils and dendritic cells) and adaptive immunity (activation of CD4+ lymphocytes and the major histocompatibility complex (MCH II) (Cobb et al., 2004).

Saccharomyces cerevisiae CNCM I-3856 5 billion CFU/g; coating agent: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose; gelling agent: gellan gum. Gluten-free. Lactose-free.
