Indications

Cistinyx tablets is a supplement to support the treatment of urinary tract disorders (UTIs - Urinary Tract Infections - mainly caused by Escherichia Coli and S. Aureus but also Gardnerella vaginalis, Prevotella, Peptostreptococcus and others):

• Candidasis.
• Vulvodynia.
• Urethritis.
• Prostatitis.
• Bacteriuria.
• Bacterial vaginosis.

In particular cystitis in its various forms:

• Bacterial cystitis.
• Cystitis post-coital.
• Interstitial cystitis.
• Recurrent cystitis.
• Cystitis in peri-menopause and post-menopause.
• Cystitis from constipation.
• Recurrent cystitis.

The synergistic composition of the ingredients that compose it allows for an optimization of its effectiveness for the well-being of the urinary tract.
The synergy is developed through the combined action of N-Acetylcysteine, which promotes the disintegration of the protective biofilm that covers the bacteria (E. Coli and S. Aureus), D-Mannose and Cranberry PACs (proanthocyanidins) which bind to the "adhesins" of the bacteria preventing them from sticking to the tissues and promoting their exit through emptying the bladder, the antiseptic action of Bearberry and the action soothing Mallow.

Composition

D-mannose
D-Mannose (250 mg per tablet) counteracts the adhesion of mannose-sensitive bacteria, including Escherichia Coli, to the bladder membrane and the endothelium of the urethra.
D-Mannose, in fact, by binding to the fimbriae (mannose-sensitive adhesins) of these bacteria, counteracts their adhesion to the urinary mucosa, promoting their elimination through the urine.
In this way, it acts in synergy with the proanthocyanidins contained in Cranberry.
Cranberry
The American Cranberry extract (Cranberry) titrated at 30% in proanthocyanidins (PCA) (30 mg of PAC per tablet) promotes the functioning of the urinary tract and the drainage of fluids body.
PACs have the ability to selectively and irreversibly inhibit the adhesion of certain pathogenic microorganisms (Escherichia coli and other gram-negative bacteria with mannose-resistant adhesins) to the urinary tract epithelium, promoting their elimination in the urine.
Uva Ursi
The Uva Ursi extract titrated at 20% arbutin exerts an antiseptic action on the mucous membranes of the urinary tract due to the arbutin and methylarbutin glucosides and an astringent action due to the tannic acid.
Its action is carried out on several levels: soothes burning, relieves spasms and pain, and reduces the urge to urinate.
Mallow
Mallow protects the mucous membranes thanks to its emollient and anti-inflammatory action, due to its rich mucilage content.
Furthermore, its gentle laxative effect (due to the ability of mucilage to form a gel that acts mechanically on the feces) helps regulate intestinal functions, an important factor in preventing the onset of urinary tract infections.
N-Acetylcysteine ​​(NAC)
N-acetylcysteine ​​is an antimucolytic active due to its action of breaking down the biofilm: bacteria aggregate, forming a protective adhesive matrix (a film) to protect themselves from attacks by antibodies and antibiotics, in fact significantly reducing their effectiveness.
The breaking down action of N-acetylcysteine ​​is capable of enhance both the properties of American cranberry, bearberry and D-mannose, as well as the action of antibiotics.

Ingredients

D-Mannose, Mallow leaves e.s. (Malva Sylvestris L.), Cranberry leaves e.s. (Vaccinium Vitis-idaea L.) tit. 30% proanthocyanidins, N-Acetylcysteine ​​(NAC), Bearberry leaves e.s. (Arctostaphylos Uva Ursi L.Spreng.) tit. 20% arbutin.
Anti-caking agents: silicon dioxide and magnesium salts of fatty acids.
Bulking agent: microcrystalline cellulose.
Free from lactose, gluten and GMO-derived ingredients.

Directions for use and Dosage

Always empty your bladder before taking the tablets.
Take the tablets with a large glass of water, away from meals.
Morning intake: drink plenty of water 1 hour after taking them.
Evening intake: drink a small amount of water after taking it to allow the product to work during the night.
Drink at least 2-2.5 litres of water a day.

Acute cystitis

• from day 1 to day 7:4 tablets a day:
  • 2 tablets in the morning (plenty of water) and
  • 2 tablets in the evening before going to bed (drink little water in the evening)
• from day 8 to day 17:3 tablets a day
  • 1 tablet in the morning (plenty of water) and
  • 2 tablets in the evening before going to bed (drink little water in the evening)
• from day 18 to day 31:2 tablets a day
  • 2 tablets in the evening, before going to bed (drink a little water in the evening)
• from day 32 to day 60: 1 tablet per day
  • 1 tablet in the evening, before going to bed (drink a little water in the evening)
