Indications

Carnitine extra is a carnitine-based supplement. Carnitine plays an important biological role as a carrier of fatty acids involved in energy production. At the biochemical level, carnitine facilitates the entry of long-chain fatty acids into the mitochondria, where they are oxidized to produce energy. From a cellular point of view, carnitine is involved in a complex mechanism called "carnitine acyl-CoA transferase": it maintains the Acetyl-CoA/CoA ratio within cells and assists the conversion of pyruvate and lactate to Acetyl-CoA.

Furthermore, it performs an indirect antioxidant action on cells with a high metabolism, such as cardiac and muscle cells. Vitamin B12 contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, while zinc contributes to normal fatty acid metabolism.

Ingredients

L-carnitine hydrochloride, bulking agent: cellulose; film coating (glazing agents: polyvinyl alcohol, shellac, polyethylene glycol, talc; color: iron oxides and hydroxides), stabilizer: mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids; zinc gluconate, anti-caking agents: magnesium salts of fatty acids, silicon dioxide; cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12).

We recommend using 1 tablet per day, preferably between meals or at least 1 hour before sports activity.

Warnings
