Indications
Cardiopirofer is a supplement based on SunActive Fe: microencapsulated, tasteless, highly bioavailable and digestible Iron Pyrophosphate, Lactoverrin, Vitamin C, Folic Acid and Vitamin B12:
- SunActive Fe is an innovative technology that uses micronized iron pyrophosphate encapsulated in an emulsifying system, characterized by gradual release at intestinal level that allows high absorption without unwanted effects.
SunActive Fe, characterized by maximum gastrointestinal tolerability, does not cause irritation, a feeling of heaviness and does not leave unpleasant aftertastes because it passes through the gastric environment unharmed and goes to the intestine where it is significantly absorbed; It is highly bioavailable and digestible.
It is useful for supplementing iron in all cases of iron deficiency, even for long periods in elderly and/or heart patients, and shows high levels of efficiency in the regeneration of hemoglobin.
Vitamin C facilitates the absorption of dietary iron, therefore it is useful in the treatment of anemia and contributes to the production of red blood cells. - Folic acid and vitamin B12 are necessary for the production and maintenance of new cells, particularly red blood cells.
- Lactoferrin is a glycoprotein with antimicrobial and iron-transporting action.
Lactoferrin's ability to bind ferric ions (Fe3+) is twice that of transferrin, the main plasma protein responsible for transporting iron in the bloodstream.
