Indications
Capidef gastro-protected tablets is a food supplement based on plant extracts and nucleotides in slow-release gastro-protected tablets. Echinacea and Tabebubia support the body's natural defenses and the functionality of the upper respiratory tract. Rose hip, with a supporting and restorative action, is a source of Vitamin C, which contributes to the normal function of the immune system.
Ingredients
Nucleotides [(guanosine-5'-phosphoric acid, adenosine-5'-phosphoric acid, uridine-5'-phosphoric acid, cytidine-5'-monophosphoric acid), bulking agent: gum arabic], bulking agent: cellulose, echinacea dry extract [extracted from fresh plant of Echinacea purpurea (L.) Moench roots and aerial parts, Echinacea pallida (Nutt.) Nutt. roots and aerial parts and Echinacea angustifolia DC. roots, in a 1:1:1 ratio], rose hip (Rosa canina L. fruit) dry extract tit. 70% ascorbic acid, tabebuia (Tabebuia avellanedae Lorentz ex Griseb bark) dry extract, anti-caking agents: hydroxypropyl cellulose, mono- and di-glycerides of fatty acids, magnesium salts of fatty acids and silicon dioxide, modified starch, glazing agents: glycerol and talc, colorants: titanium dioxide and iron oxides and hydroxides.
Active ingredients
- The Echinacea extract is obtained from a mixture in equal parts of the fresh plant of three species of Echinacea (purpurea, pallida and angustifolia) which act in synergy to support the body's natural defenses and to promote and protect the physiological functionality of the upper respiratory tract;
- The Rosa canina extract, which has a supporting and restorative action, is a concentrated source of vitamin C, which contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system, to the protection of cells from oxidative stress (antioxidant effect) and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, proving to be a valid aid especially in periods in which the body is stressed or more exposed to external agents;
- Tabebuia extract, a typical plant of the Amazon rainforest also known as Lapacho or Pau d'arco, promotes the body's natural defenses, the well-being and functionality of the upper respiratory tract and the body's purifying functions, also positively influencing the sweating processes that can accompany typical winter ailments;
- Nucleotides are the molecular units that make up the nucleic acids DNA and RNA and as such are involved in many aspects of cellular metabolism, growth and the immune response.

Directions for use and Dosage
It is recommended to take 1-2 tablets a day as needed, away from meals, to be swallowed whole with a sip of water.
Warnings
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Do not administer during pregnancy and to children. Keep out of reach of children under 3 years of age. Supplements should not be considered a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, away from sunlight and humidity. The expiry date refers to the product when stored correctly and in its intact packaging.
