Indications

Calogen Extra is a hyperlipidic supplement based on unsaturated vegetable fats with a high caloric intensity (4 kcal/ml). It is enriched with proteins, minerals, vitamin B12, vitamin C, vitamin D, calcium, iron and zinc. It is also gluten and fiber free. Indicated for the nutritional treatment of patients whose pathology requires a very concentrated energy intake, such as cancer patients, anorexics, patients with respiratory failure, and HIV patients. It is also particularly indicated for patients with increased energy needs, such as patients who are unable to consume standard volumes or elderly people who are malnourished and have no appetite.

Directions for use and dosage

The dosage must be established by your doctor. A 50 ml scoop provides 220 kcal and 2.5 g of protein. The scoop is also provided with graduated markings every 5 ml to facilitate correct dosage.
