Indications
Folic Acid is a food supplement based on vitamin B9 (folate), the supplemental intake of which increases maternal folate status.
Low folate status is a risk factor for the development of neural tube defects in the fetus*. Vitamin B9 also contributes to the growth of maternal tissue during pregnancy, normal amino acid synthesis, normal hematopoiesis, homocysteine metabolism, the function of the immune system, the process of cell division and normal psychological function.
*The target population is women of childbearing age and the beneficial effect is obtained with a daily supplemental intake of 400 mcg of folic acid for at least one month before and up to three months after conception.
Ingredients
Thickeners: dibasic calcium phosphate, microcrystalline cellulose; anti-caking agents: magnesium salts of fatty acids, silicon dioxide; folic acid.

Directions for use
We recommend taking 1 tablet per day.
