Indications

Food supplement for adults based on sodium butyrate and zinc oxide. Zinc contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.

Butyric acid: Butyric acid is one of the four short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs: butyric, acetic, propionic, and valeric acid).

Zinc oxide (ZnO): Zinc oxide is a source of zinc. Zinc protects cells from oxidative stress and supports the normal function of the immune system by decreasing NF-kB, TNF-alpha, IL-1 beta, and VCAM and increasing the gene expression of A20 and PPAR-alpha. ZnO stimulates the formation of metallothionines.
