Indications
Aligastril is a food supplement based on Melatonin and Chamomile extract with sodium alginate. It is a synergistic composition of active ingredients that combines the traditional use of alginates with innovative phytotherapeutic active ingredients.
Active ingredients
- Sodium alginate: helps to mechanically counteract reflux. When the alginate reaches the stomach, it comes into contact with gastric acids and forms a gel that acts as a protective barrier for the gastric mucosa and as an anti-reflux barrier. It is positioned at the mouth of the stomach and prevents the reflux of acidic material into the esophagus;
- Chamomile: helps digestive function, regular gastrointestinal motility and the elimination of gas; has an emollient and soothing effect on the digestive system;
- Melatonin: increases the release of gastrin, which stimulates the contractile activity of the lower esophageal sphincter. It has a protective effect on the gastric mucosa by inhibiting the secretion of gastric acids and stimulating that of bicarbonate and prostaglandins.

Directions for use and dosage
