Alpha;Lipoic Thioctic Acid is a vitamin-like substance produced by the human body that plays a key role in cellular energy metabolism. It is an important enzymatic cofactor within the Krebs cycle, therefore directly promotes energy at the neuronal level and is responsible for the recovery of cellular function. α Lipoic acid has some particular characteristics that make it not only extraordinarily effective as an antioxidant, active on both water- and fat-soluble free radicals, but also absolutely essential for the body to counteract the damage associated with their formation. Its action is further enhanced when combined with a multivitamin complex, especially vitamins from groups B, C, and E, and trace elements such as selenium. Lutein Carotenoid: Found in the human macula and lens, it can filter blue light and ultraviolet rays, important for blocking age-related macular degeneration and the onset of cataracts. DHA: An important ingredient for the replacement of Rhodopsin, it contributes to the formation of the external discs of photoreceptors, being the most important structural fatty acid in the gray matter and retina of humans and animals. Tanacetum Parthenium: Natural anti-inflammatory with documented anti-inflammatory activity. Tanacetum: Leukotriene B_4 Inhibitor, Thromboxane B_2,5α Lipoxygenase. Parthenolide: Interferes with cox_2. Vitamin C: Water-soluble vitamin, boasts a strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory action, stimulates collagen production and the immune defenses against viral infections.
