Indications
Eucerin® Actinic Control SPF100 is a certified medical device for the prevention of actinic keratosis and non-melanoma skin cancer.
It also serves as an adjunctive treatment for actinic keratosis.
UV-induced DNA damage to keratinocytes can cause actinic keratosis.
Actinic keratosis is the most common pre-cancer of the skin, which can progress to non-melanoma skin cancer (squamous cell carcinoma) if left untreated.
The high efficacy of Actinic Control derives from its high SPF100.
The higher the SPF, the more UVB rays are blocked—which are a major cause of cellular damage.
The more UVB rays are blocked, the less cellular damage the skin suffers during sun exposure.
An SPF 100, for example, blocks approximately 99% of UVB rays.
Furthermore, a high SPF 100 can also compensate for underapplication of sunscreen.
Being a light-textured fluid, it is suitable for daily use, making it pleasant to apply and easy to stay protected during daily outdoor activities.

Directions for use
Use only on clean, undamaged skin.
Apply a sufficient amount to the affected areas every morning.
In case of direct sun exposure, reapply every 2 hours, especially after swimming, sweating, or toweling, to maintain the original protection.
Reducing the amount of product significantly reduces the level of protection.
Warnings
Do not expose yourself to the sun for too long, even when using sunscreen.
Excessive sun exposure is a health risk.
Wear protective clothing and use sufficient sunscreen for unprotected areas.
