Eucerin Photoaging Control Sun Fluid SPF30 helps prevent premature skin aging caused by sunlight (known as photoaging) and protects skin from sunburn and sun damage.
While most modern sunscreens protect against UVA and UVB rays, Eucerin Photoaging Control Sun Fluid SPF30 increases the level of sun protection by also fighting oxidative stress caused by High Energy Visible light (HEV light).
The formula hydrates while it protects, stimulating the skin's natural ability to retain moisture, replenishing it from within and reducing the appearance of deep wrinkles. UVB rays penetrate the upper layers of the skin (the epidermis) and can cause sunburn. UVA and HEV (high-energy visible) rays penetrate the deeper layers of the skin (the dermis) and generate free radicals. These interfere with the activity of skin cells, damage collagen and elastic fibers, and can cause premature skin aging: the skin begins to lose volume and firmness, and deep wrinkles form. UV rays are also associated with sun allergies; all three types of rays can cause hyperpigmentation and contribute to the onset of conditions such as sunspots (also known as age spots) and melasma. In addition to a highly effective, broad-spectrum, photostable UVA/UVB filter system1, the innovative formula of Eucerin Photoaging Control Sun Fluid SPF30 contains two powerful antioxidants – Licochalcone A and Glycyrrhetinic Acid – which work together to help protect skin from the signs of photoaging. Licochalcone A neutralizes free radicals that cause oxidative stress and accelerate skin aging, while Glycyrrhetinic Acid stimulates the skin's natural DNA repair mechanisms. The formula is also enriched with Hyaluronic Acid, which hydrates and binds water, plumping the skin from within and reducing the appearance of deep wrinkles. Eucerin Photoaging Control Sun Fluid SPF 30 absorbs quickly, has a mattifying effect and leaves the skin smooth, soft and protected.

How to use
Apply generously before sun exposure and reapply frequently, especially after swimming, sweating, or toweling off, to maintain the original protection. Reducing the amount of product used significantly reduces the level of protection. You can use the palm of your hand to measure the amount of product to apply. As a general rule, we recommend using a thick strip of sunscreen extending from the inside of the middle finger to the wrist to cover the head and neck.
Warnings
Do not expose yourself too long to the sun, even when using sunscreen. Excessive sun exposure is a health risk. Keep infants and young children out of direct sunlight. Avoid contact with eyes. Allow to absorb completely and avoid direct contact with fabrics and surfaces that could stain.
