Characteristics
It is a tonic lotion that rebalances and tones facial skin after cleansing. It has an astringent effect and minimizes pore dilation thanks to the presence of Orange Blossom and Red Vine Extract.
Active components
Red Vine: the leaves of the red vine are rich in active ingredients such as polyphenolic derivatives such as proanthocyanidins, flavonoids, glucosides, tannins, organic acids, resveratrol, polyunsaturated fatty acids, vitamins (A, C, B1, B2, PP) and minerals (calcium, potassium, iron, copper, manganese). Polyphenols have anti-inflammatory and capillary-protective properties. Tannins and anthocyanins perform an antioxidant and protective function on the walls of capillary vessels, reducing permeability and increasing the resistance of the vascular endothelium. They also inhibit the activity of enzymes, such as elastase, which lead to damage to the supporting perivascular tissues. Resveratrol and proanthocyanidins both have powerful anti-radical properties. Specifically, they fight oxygen free radicals, compounds that contribute to tissue aging, with the final effect of protecting tissue elasticity and tone. Finally, red vine extracts have a high antioxidant activity capable of protecting the skin from damage caused, for example, by excessive sun exposure.
Cornflower Water: Cornflower is a plant with astringent, anti-inflammatory, and diuretic properties. It contains active ingredients including flavonoids, anthocyanins, and pectins. The astringent and anti-inflammatory action is mainly due to the presence of polyphenols. Cornflower water is a hydrolate particularly suitable for soothing irritation of the eyelids and eye contour and for relieving tired eyes, thus also benefiting from bags and dark circles.
Euphrasia Water: hydrolate obtained from the leaves and flowers of Euphrasia Officinalis, it is a concentrate of active ingredients with anti-inflammatory, astringent, and decongestant properties.
Witch Hazel Water: hydrolate obtained from the leaves of Hamamelis Virginiana. It has anti-inflammatory and vasoprotective properties, and is especially indicated for rosacea and dilated capillaries. It is suitable for both oily and impure skin, as it purifies the epidermis, tightens pores and reduces excessive sebum secretion, and for delicate and irritated skin thanks to its decongestant action.
Orange Blossom Extract: aqueous extract of Citrus Aurantium flowers, performs a protective action on the skin thanks to the high antioxidant power of polyphenols, which help counteract the damage caused by free radicals by strengthening the skin's endogenous defense systems. It has excellent toning, soothing, regenerating and refreshing properties.
Saccharomyces Lysate: is a biotechnological active ingredient obtained from an isolated strain of Saccharomyces Cerevisiae, a yeast rich in thiamine (vitamin B1) that promotes tissue trophism processes. It has demonstrated the ability to activate tissue regeneration through a significant increase in cellular respiration and oxygenation as well as boosting the natural immune response.
Lactic Acid: alpha-hydroxy acid that promotes surface cell turnover and provides hydration to the skin. Suitable for sensitive skin.
Directions for use
Soak a cotton pad with the product and dab it onto the face after cleansing. Avoid contact with eyes.
