Characteristics

Vandel Skin Cream is a rapidly absorbed moisturizing cream with a compact and delicate texture, suitable for sensitive skin.

Vandel Skin Cream is indicated:

• as a soothing and normalizing factor, on reddened skin, altered by the action of solar radiation (photoaging) and time (chronoaging).
• as an emollient and hydrating factor, to support the action of pharmacological ointments, including cortisone-based ones, used for eczema and dermatitis, in adults and children.
• as a skin barrier support factor, in cases of hyper-reactivity skin caused by atmospheric stress (sun, environmental pollution, wind, sweat, unsuitable cosmetics, detergents, shaving, etc.).
• as a preventative factor in the onset of skin irritation.

Thanks to its components, Vandel Skin Cream:

• Improves the skin's ability to retain water, produces a calibrated action on the hydrolipidic mantle and simulates the natural lipids that constitute it, strengthening the functionality of the hydrolipidic barrier. Its action promotes skin relaxation, especially when it has been depleted by aggressive treatments such as the prolonged use of cortisone ointments or cosmetics rich in preservatives. It stimulates cellular functions, preventing alterations linked to hyperoxidation (melasma, skin blemishes). It is useful in geriatric and pediatric indications, in which skin problems, characterized by a reduction in the level of hydration of the stratum corneum, require the supply of soothing and trophic elements capable of restoring the skin's natural protective functions and original firmness. Significant results have been achieved in the treatment of xerosis caused by retinoids and tar, characterized by abnormal scaling, skin thickening, and keratosis.

Active components

• Hyaluronic acid: Its ability to retain water makes it particularly useful for skin protection. An active component in the formation of collagen and connective tissue, hyaluronic acid promotes tissue plasticity and ensures optimal skin hydration. It has healing and anti-inflammatory properties.
• Mandelic acid: It is particularly active in the repair and reactivation of aging skin, has antiseptic properties, and is effective for inflammatory acne. It has depigmenting properties.
• Shea Butter: has emollient, antioxidant, and re-epithelializing properties. It is rich in unsaponifiables, essential substances for nourishing and improving skin tone and elasticity.
• Sweet almond oil and wheat germ oil: are, par excellence, the most widely used hydrating and nourishing agents in cosmetics, rich in natural unsaponifiables with soothing properties.
• Carrageenan: is a molecular film with high hydrating power and gives the treated area a pleasant tactile effect. It carries out long-lasting sustained release activities.

Vandel Skin Cream does not contain preservatives that irritate the skin.

Directions for use

Apply Vandel Skin Cream to the affected area and massage until completely absorbed. Repeat two or more times a day. Excellent as a makeup base.
