Features

Q-White by Q1 is a cosmetic treatment for dark skin blemishes (melasma, UV spots, post-inflammatory hormonal hyperchromia) particularly effective in reducing excessive melanin production triggered by inflammation and oxidation around melanocytes (cells that produce pigment). Once melanin production levels are restored, the physiological life cycle of skin cells will return the skin to its natural color. The cream is particularly indicated for:

• Melasma: face (dark spots on the face) but also nipples and genitals. The etiology has not yet been clearly defined but exposure to the sun could trigger the onset of the disorder (we recommend preventing this risk with the use of creams containing sunscreens);
• Sun spots;
• Post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH) which can arise after invasive treatments: Peeling, Cryo, Laser, Tattoos, Traumatic waxing;
• Dark circles: thinning of the epidermis such that any inflammation or vasodilation in the area is evident;
• Hormonal hyperchromia.

Formulation

• Does not contain preservatives, petrolatum, parabens or silicones;
• Not tested on animals

Active components

• Vitamin C: renowned anti-inflammatory and antioxidant agent. It also acts as a depigmenting agent, stimulates collagen production, helps to normalize melanin production and inhibit melanocyte hyperactivity, contributes to the extraction of ferrine ion (responsible for post-traumatic hyperpigmentation);
• Niacinamide (Vitamin B3): antioxidant agent, together with vitamin C it helps to normalize melanin production, inhibits melanocyte hyperactivity, prevents the formation and migration of melanosomes;
• Thioctic Acid (Alpha Lipoic): has the main function of antioxidant and supports the endogenous regeneration of Vitamin C and glutathione.

The synergistic action of the active ingredients is further enhanced by sodium dextrane sulphate (dextran) which acts as an accelerator and facilitator for the transdermal penetration of vitamins C and B3.
