Active components
Bakuchiol: natural ingredient extracted from Babchi seeds (Psoralea Corylifolia plant), used in traditional Ayurvedic and Chinese medicine. Known as a natural alternative to Retinol, it works by activating retinoic acid receptors and the enzymes responsible for collagen synthesis.
Plant-derived peptides: obtained through biotechnological processes, which allow the synthesis of collagen fragments, in plants grown using greenhouse agriculture. The active ingredient obtained from the processing mimics the action of collagen already present in the epidermis.
Hyaluronic Acid: is a substance naturally produced by our body with the purpose of hydrating and protecting tissues. Hyaluronic acid can be high, medium, or low molecular weight. High molecular weight hyaluronic acid: creates a barrier film on the superficial layer of the skin, preventing the water present in the underlying tissues from evaporating, thus maintaining hydration over time. Medium molecular weight hyaluronic acid: increases skin elasticity. Low molecular weight hyaluronic acid performs a deeper, anti-wrinkle action.
