Features
Aknet activepeel is formulated with a combination of 10% Glycolic Acid, Succinic Acid, and Shikimic Acid, with keratonormalizing and sebum-regulating properties. Used regularly, it refines skin texture, helping to reduce the appearance of seborrheic, acne-prone skin. Also indicated as an adjuvant to reduce the visibility of any residual marks, in adolescence and adulthood. Tested non-comedogenic.
Active components
Glycolic Acid 10%: α-hydroxy acid with chemical exfoliating action on the superficial layers of the epidermis, it acts by reducing corneocyte adhesion and improving skin smoothness.
Succinic Acid 2%: α-hydroxy acid with keratolytic, exfoliating and antibacterial action against C. acnes.
Shikimic Acid 1.2%: α-hydroxy acid from Star Anise (Illicium verum), acts through an enzymatic inhibition mechanism against lipases. Thanks to its antibacterial, sebum-normalizing, and exfoliating properties, it promotes epidermal renewal and improves skin texture.
