The main component is dimethylaminoethanol (DMAE), a new anti-aging substance that counteracts the loss of tone and sagging skin.
DMAE is considered a precursor of acetylcholine, levels of which decrease with aging, resulting in a reduction of muscle tone. In addition to protecting the cell from attacks by free radicals, by becoming part of the membrane itself, it prevents its decomposition with the consequent production of arachidonic acid and other pre-inflammatory mediators. It also promotes the elimination of toxins and the maintenance of nutrients in cells.
Ferulic acid is a natural substance that improves the chemical stability and enhances the photoprotective action of vitamin C and vitamin E, whose levels in the skin are significantly reduced after exposure to UV rays.
Soy phytoestrogens and retinol palmitate have an anti-aging effect by stimulating fibroblasts and collagen production. The presence of a sunscreen limits the photoaging damage that daily exposure to the sun can cause.
