It is important to note some contraindications and possible side effects. Rarely, loss of appetite, diarrhea, vomiting, fatigue, or a temporary increase in Ast levels may occur. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active ingredients or excipients, nor concomitantly with other antiparasitics containing piperazine derivatives and/or organophosphates.
Caution is recommended when administering to dogs suffering from cachexia. Frequent and repeated use of anthelmintics may lead to the development of parasitic resistance. Fleas are intermediate hosts for Dipylidium caninum, so control of intermediate hosts and the environment is essential to prevent recurrences. Use in debilitated or severely infested animals should be carefully evaluated by a veterinarian. Use in animals less than 6 weeks of age is generally not necessary.

Avoid concomitant use with preparations containing piperazine, organophosphates, diethylcarbamazine, and morantel, as antagonistic or toxicological interactions may occur.
During pregnancy, do not use during the first four weeks of gestation. Subsequently and during breastfeeding, use is permitted only after a careful benefit/risk assessment by your veterinarian.
To ensure maximum efficacy and safety, Tetrias Plus must be administered orally only. The recommended dosage is of 5 mg/kg praziquantel, 14.4 mg/kg pyrantel embonate, and 20 mg/kg fenbendazole, corresponding to 1 tablet per 10 kg of body weight.
The tablet can be administered directly orally or, after crushing, mixed with food. During treatment, do not feed. The animal must fast.
For proper storage, keep the product at a temperature below +25°C, in a dry place away from light, in the original packaging. It is important to discard any unused tablets and return any halved tablets to the packaging.
After administration, it is recommended to keep dogs confined for 24 hours and dispose of feces appropriately. Clean and disinfect the animal's environment regularly. Anyone administering the medicine should wash their hands thoroughly after use and, in case of accidental ingestion, seek medical advice immediately. People with known hypersensitivity to the active ingredients should avoid contact. It is advisable to keep children away from dogs in the days following treatment.
