STIMULFOS Pet Line is formulated in highly palatable tablets thanks to the flavoring action of high-quality, non-allergenic animal-derived protein hydrolysates (average molecular weight less than 1000 Daltons) and thanks to the use of B vitamins in the special protected Rocoat form, which guarantees high stability and palatability.
STIMULFOS Pet Line combines three classes of components: beta-glucans, phospholipids, and B vitamins (B1, B2, B6, B12, PP, and calcium pantothenate).
Beta-glucans belong to a class of biologically active natural compounds known as BRMs (Biological Response Modifiers), which can positively influence the efficiency of the animal's immune system. Of great importance to their activity are their origin (which can be plant-based, bacterial, yeast-based, or fungal, with significant qualitative and quantitative differences in activity) and their chemical-physical characteristics (solubility, structure, molecular weight, and number of branches). Macrogard Biorigin beta-1,3/1,6 glucans are polysaccharides extracted from the cell wall of the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae using a special technique that allows them to be concentrated while maintaining their biological activity. The intestine is the organ with the largest and most pronounced immune activity: following oral intake, beta-glucans are able to interact with specific receptors present on immune cells of the intestinal mucosa, determining and modulating the production of cytokines, increasing the activity of leukocytes (phagocytic activity), and stimulating the production of antibodies.
The STIMULFOS Pet Line contains a specific source of phospholipids rich in phosphatidic acid, derived from soy, characterized by high bioavailability and purity and obtained with natural enzymatic methods without the use of chemical extraction methods. Phosphatidic acid is the simplest membrane phospholipid and is also the fundamental intermediate for the synthesis of all other more specific phospholipids (phosphatidylcholine, phosphatidylserine, phosphatidylethanolamine, and phosphatidylinositol), primary constituents of cell membranes; as a membrane component, phosphatidic acid represents 1-4% of total cellular phospholipids. Of significant importance, and discovered only in the last 10 years, is the activity of phosphatidic acid as a lipid mediator at the cellular level; As such, it mediates and regulates several fundamental biochemical processes involved in cell vitality, growth, and proliferation, as well as in reactions to endogenous hormones and organic and physiological stress of all kinds. The phosphorus content per tablet due to phosphatidic acid (0.5 mg/10 kg b.a.) is negligible even compared to the minimum dietary intake of a specific diet for chronic kidney disease (300 mg/10 kg b.a.).
STIMULFOS Pet Line contains B-complex vitamins in high concentrations, much higher than the minimum requirements recommended by FEDIAF (European Federation of the Food Industry for Family Pets); in STIMULFOS Pet Line, these vitamins are combined to stimulate cellular metabolism and compensate for deficiencies or increased needs in situations of metabolic stress, to keep all the coenzyme systems that use these vitamins intact and efficient. Vitamin B1 has a beneficial effect on the nervous system and myocardium, and in situations of stress and intense muscular exertion. Vitamin B2 participates in biological oxidation processes, promoting normal cellular trophism. Vitamin B6 plays a role in protein metabolism, especially in the bone marrow and nervous system, the liver, and the skin. Vitamin B12 is involved in the formation of coenzymes essential for cell growth and replication, especially in hematopoiesis, the central and peripheral nervous system, and the liver. Vitamin PP plays a fundamental role in numerous oxidation-reduction reactions essential for tissue respiration. Pantothenic acid is a cofactor in enzymatic reactions of the oxidative metabolism of carbohydrates, in the synthesis and degradation of fatty acids, and in the synthesis of sterols and steroid hormones. Its deficiency causes signs of neuromuscular degeneration and adrenocortical insufficiency. Finally, STIMULFOS Pet Line contains Vitamin E which, thanks to its antioxidant properties, protects the membranes of the body's cells by seizing free radicals and preventing their propagation.

Directions for use
One tablet for every 10 kg of the animal's weight once a day.
The daily dose can be doubled depending on the animal's condition and the advice of the veterinarian.
To be administered for at least two weeks.
The palatable tablets can be administered directly or crushed into a little of the animal's favorite food.
The tablets can be divided into four parts to facilitate weight adjustment: place the tablet on a flat surface with the side with the scored lines facing upwards; Press the center of the tablet with your thumb to divide it into 4 quarters.
