Specific® CDD-HY Food Allergen Management is a complete dietary food for dogs, formulated for the management of adverse reactions to food and gastrointestinal disorders.
It is Suitable for:
- Adverse food reactions (food allergy and/or food intolerance) that cause dermatological and/or gastrointestinal disorders
- Elimination diet
- Gastrointestinal problems such as diarrhea, vomiting, and flatulence due to malabsorption and maldigestion, exocrine pancreatic insufficiency, and acute gastroenteritis
- Chronic inflammatory bowel disease
Hydrolyzed salmon proteins are highly digestible. and low allergenicity.
Rice has low allergenicity and high digestibility, making it a perfect ingredient in hypoallergenic diets. Rice is gluten-free and therefore tolerated by dogs with gluten allergies/intolerances.
High-quality ingredients and highly digestible proteins make the diet particularly useful for patients with small intestinal diarrhea.

Specific® CDD-HY Food Allergen Management is A complete and balanced hypoallergenic diet with a limited number of ingredients (based on rice and hydrolyzed salmon) that meets the nutritional needs of dogs of all ages with food allergies.
To avoid food allergy symptoms, it is essential that no foods other than the hypoallergenic diet are fed.
For the diagnosis of adverse food reactions (AFRs), a homemade elimination diet (containing a new protein source) fed for 8 weeks, followed by a challenge test, is considered the gold standard. The high-quality, highly digestible ingredients and high levels of electrolytes make this diet particularly useful for patients with gastrointestinal problems related to acute intestinal malabsorption, maldigestion, and/or pancreatic insufficiency.
It contains psyllium husk, a soluble, gel-forming fiber known for its beneficial effect on gastrointestinal regulation.
Exocrine pancreatic insufficiency is characterized by a severe reduction in the secretion of pancreatic digestive enzymes. Specific® Cdd-Hy Food Allergen Management is easily digestible and therefore ideal for patients with exocrine pancreatic insufficiency. However, additional use of pancreatic enzymes is always recommended.
Composition
Rice, rice protein, pork fat, hydrolyzed salmon protein, minerals, protein hydrolyzate (less than 10,000 daltons), cellulose powder, vitamins and trace elements (including chelated trace elements), fish oil, psyllium husk, rosemary extract. With natural antioxidants (tocopherols and vitamin C). Contains no added artificial colors or flavors.
Directions for Use
Individual daily requirements may vary depending on factors such as breed, environment, season, activity, etc. It is therefore recommended to continue monitoring the animal's condition and body weight, adjusting the amount of food fed accordingly. Administer accordingly.
For dogs with gastrointestinal problems, it is recommended to divide the daily ration of Specific® CDD-HY Food Allergen Management into 3-5 meals per day.
