Ophthalmic solution indicated for dogs, cats, non-DPA horses and pet rabbits.

Indications

Siccostil Total provides immediate relief in cases of moderate-severe eye fatigue or environmental stress associated with dogs, cats, horses and pet rabbits. 0.4% hyaluronic acid provides deep hydration and lubrication while GXG (tamarind seed polysaccharide) has structural characteristics similar to the mucins (MUC1-like structure) contained in the tear film which naturally act as a defensive and stabilizing barrier against irritants. The combination of the two functional substances therefore allows a synergistic normalization of the corneal/conjunctival surface, which is protected from irritation due to physical environmental causes or mechanical factors, providing prolonged relief.

Composition

Active ingredients

Hyaluronic acid (0.4% w/v), galactoxyloglucan (0.2% w/v), mannitol, sodium citrate tribasic dihydrate, citric acid monohydrate, water for injections.

Directions for use and Dosage

1. Remove the safety ring by lifting the tab, remove the bottle cap and hold it between the thumb and forefinger of the dominant hand;
2. Hold the animal's head still by containing the muzzle with the non-dominant hand;
3. Place the dominant hand on the side above the animal's head so that you can gently pull the upper eyelid with the outer edge of your little finger to facilitate exposure of the eye;
4. Place the bottle over the eye and instill 1-2 drops of the solution into the eye 2-3 times a day, applying light pressure to the body of the bottle;
5. Reward the animal after application.

Warnings

Ophthalmic product for external veterinary use. Avoid touching the eye with the tip of the bottle. Do not use the product after the expiry date shown on the package. Allow 10-15 minutes to pass between instilling Siccostil Total and any instillation of drugs or products for external ophthalmic use. Close the bottle carefully after each use, making sure that no residual drops remain on the tip; if necessary, let them fall with a firm movement of the wrist. To avoid breaking the bottle, do not release more than 10 drops. of 30 consecutive drops. Do not use in case of subjective hypersensitivity or known incompatibility with any component of the preparation. Keep out of the sight and reach of children. Do not dispose of the container in the environment after use.

Storage

Store below 25°C.
Shelf life after opening: 3 months.
