Resolution Spray is a high-quality antiparasitic emulsion formulated for external use on dogs and cats. This advanced solution was created to offer complete protection against a wide variety of ectoparasites, ensuring the well-being and health of your four-legged friends.
Its effectiveness is guaranteed by a synergy of carefully selected active ingredients:
- Piperonyl butoxide (0.5 g/100 ml)
- Sumithrin (0.35 g/100 ml)
- Permethrin (cis/trans ratio 25/75, 0.25 g/100 ml)
These components act specifically against:
- Lice (Haemotopinus setosus, Trichodectes canis, Felicola subrostrata)
- Fleas (Pulex irritans, Ctenocephalides spp.)
- Ticks (Ixodes spp., Rhipicephalus spp., Dermacentor spp., Haemaphysalis spp., Amblyomma spp.)
- Mites (Trombicula spp., Cheyletiella spp., Demodex spp., Sarcoptes scabiei canis, Otodectes cynotis, Notoedres cati)
The formula is also effective against larvae and eggs, interrupting the life cycle of parasites for long-lasting protection. The excipients include Polyglyceryl-4-oleate, imidazolidinylurea, and purified water, chosen for their purity and compatibility.
It is essential not to use the product on sick or convalescent animals or those with extensive skin lesions, nor in cases of hypersensitivity to the active ingredients or excipients. It is recommended to store the bottle in a dry place, away from heat sources and direct sunlight, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Once opened, the product maintains its effectiveness for 6 months.
For pregnant or lactating females, use is permitted only after careful risk-benefit assessment by a veterinarian. No drug interactions are known, but concomitant use with other antiparasitics is not recommended. In case of skin reactions or allergic reactions in susceptible individuals, discontinue treatment immediately.
Directions for use
To ensure maximum efficacy and safety, please carefully follow the directions for use. Resolution Spray:
- Dosage for dogs: 1 to 4 ml/kg (corresponding to 1-4 spray pumps).
- Dosage for cats: 1 to 2 ml/kg (corresponding to 1-2 spray pumps).
The amount to be administered may vary depending on the intensity of the infestation and the length and thickness of the animal's fur. It is essential not to exceed the recommended doses.
Directions for use Application:
- Spray the product onto the skin, working against the direction of growth.
- Concentrate particularly on all areas affected by the infestation.
- Keep the bottle at a distance of approximately 5-10 cm from the area to be treated.
- Carefully avoid contact with the animal's eyes and mouth.
- For puppies or very young animals, pay particular attention not to spray on the muzzle, in the eyes and inside the ears.
Frequency of treatment:
- For fleas, lice and ticks: One application repeated every 5-7 days.
- For mites: The application can be repeated after 4 days, for a maximum of 3-5 times. The treatment can be repeated every 4 days. then continue with an application every 5-7 days.
Important warnings:
- Do not use the product for prolonged treatments. If no appreciable results are seen after a short period, consult your veterinarian.
- The product is intended for external use only.
- During the first few days of use, it is advisable to carefully monitor the animal. In case of skin reactions, discontinue treatment and consult a veterinarian.
- Do not use simultaneously with other antiparasitics.
- Prevent the animal from licking its fur while it is still wet and prevent the product from being inhaled or ingested.
- Precautions for those administering the product: Wear gloves during application. Avoid ingestion and contact with food, drinks, and containers. After use, wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water. In case of contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly. Use in a well-ventilated area.
- In case of overdose, excessive salivation, respiratory secretions, tremors, or convulsions may occur. Consult a veterinarian immediately.
