Characteristics
Hill's Prescription Diet Dog - i/d in a 360-gram can can be administered to dogs with gastrointestinal disorders to improve stomach and intestinal health. It has a reduced fat content and is therefore very suitable for dogs prone to overweight. Its prebiotic fibers promote the growth of beneficial bacteria in the intestine, while ginger has a relaxing effect on the intestinal tract. This food is a long-term solution and minimizes the risk of recurrence of disorders.
Hills id can for dogs is indicated in case of:
- gastrointestinal disorders for which a low-fat diet is beneficial: gastritis, enteritis, colitis (e.g. the most frequent cause of diarrhea, poor absorption and excessive bacterial growth)
- pancreatitis
- exocrine pancreatic insufficiency
- hyperlipidemia
- lymphangectasia
Composition
Meat and animal derivatives (chicken 8%), cereals, derivatives of vegetable origin, eggs and egg derivatives, minerals, seeds.
Carbohydrate sources: corn, barley flour, rice.
Additives
Nutritional additives: vitamin D3 (250 IU/kg), iron (9.2 mg/kg), iodine (0.4 mg/kg), copper (1.6 mg/kg), E5 manganese (2.7 mg/kg), zinc (38.6 mg/kg), selenium (0.06 mg/kg).
Technological additives: colored with iron oxide.
