Antiparasitic spray solution for dogs and cats for 2 days or more of age.

Indications

Frontline^® Spray, thanks to the active ingredient Fipronil, is a treatment that acts rapidly to eliminate fleas, ticks and lice in dogs and cats, when the infestation is already in progress. Thanks to its lethal action on adult fleas, Fipronil effectively contributes to the control and resolution of Flea Allergic Dermatitis (FAD) which, in dogs and cats, is caused by the sensitizing action exerted by the antigens contained in the saliva of these parasites. It acts against Ticks, Fleas and Lice Fipronil also, with a single treatment, quickly and definitively controls and resolves lice infestations in dogs and cats, in particular those caused by Trichodectes canis, the dog biting louse, and by Felicola subrostratus, cat chewing louse.

Dosage

2-4 sprays for every kg of weight. (1 spray equals 1.5 ml) for every kg of weight. A single application of the product protects the animal from new infestations by ticks, fleas and lice, in particular:

• from ticks: up to 1 month after treatment in both dogs and cats
• from fleas: * up to 3 months after treatment in dogs
• up to 5 weeks after treatment in cats

For correct ectoparasitic prevention, it is advisable to carry out monthly treatments during the most seasonal periods

How to use

Spray “against the grain” Spray the entire surface of the animal's body, from a distance of 10-20 cm, holding the bottle in a vertical position. The spray should be applied evenly, so as to uniformly "wet" the fur all over the body. After spraying, carefully rub the back, shoulders, hips, abdomen, paws, and neck to bring the product into direct contact with the skin.
After these operations, allow to dry naturally.

Contraindications

Do not use on animals with extensive skin lesions.
Do not use on sick animals (systemic diseases, fever, etc.) or convalescent animals.
Do not use on rabbits, as they may cause skin irritation. Potentially fatal adverse reactions may occur.

Side Effects

Among the extremely rare suspected adverse reactions, transient skin reactions such as erythema, pruritus, or alopecia have been described after application. Exceptionally, hypersalivation, reversible neurological symptoms (hyperesthesia, depression, nervous symptoms), vomiting, or respiratory symptoms have been observed. Do not exceed the recommended dose.
