Features

One Vet is a spray for veterinary use in healing therapy. The oily film promotes a moist wound environment, thus activating physiological healing of the wound and promoting cell proliferation.

Details

• Antimicrobial and repellent effect;
• Protection and treatment of the area surrounding the wound: the oily film and the fatty acids it contains protect the edges of the wound from the risk of maceration and promote the regeneration of the epidermis;
• Painless dressing change: the oily film avoids that any secondary dressing applied to the wound adheres to the wound itself. This allows for trauma-free and painless dressing changes.

Directions for use

Follow usual hygiene measures (cleansing with saline or lactated Ringer's solution) and wound cleaning procedures (removal of foreign bodies and periwound shaving) before applying the product, in accordance with current health regulations. Do not use disinfectants before applying the product.

• Shake the spray well before use;
• Spray one VET directly onto the wound and surrounding area from a distance of 5–10 cm and ensure that the wound and periwound tissue are covered by a visible oily layer;
• After spraying one VET onto the wound, cover it, if possible, with an appropriate application of: a non-woven fabric compress or an absorbent suitable for wound exudate. It is recommended to repeat the treatment every 24–48 hours.

Warnings

For external use only. Adjust the number of sprays based on the size of the wound. Avoid contact with eyes. Avoid direct contact of the canister with the wound. Do not inhale the sprayed particles. If allergic reactions occur, rinse the oily layer with spring water or saline solution. Possible interactions with other topical treatments have not been tested. Pressurized container. Protect from sunlight and do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50°C. Do not pierce or burn, even after use. Do not spray on a naked flame or any incandescent material. Keep away from all sources of ignition. Do not smoke. Keep out of reach of children.

Contraindications

Do not use if you have had an allergic reaction to any of the substances contained in the product in the past.

Storage

Store at room temperature (15–25°C). Can only be used until the expiry date indicated on the container and packaging. Dispose of the product in accordance with local environmental regulations.
