A dog's nutritional needs do not include carbohydrates, and their content in their diet is low or nonexistent. It has been established that carbohydrates are a major cause of obesity and diabetes – despite this, common dog foods often contain over 50% of them.
For this reason, Acana limits the overall carbohydrate content and replaces quickly digested carbohydrates, such as rice, tapioca, and potatoes, with low-glycemic fruits and vegetables, such as squash and other greens. These enter the bloodstream slowly, preventing spikes in blood glucose levels and reducing the potential for fat accumulation.

Directions for Use
Acana is perfect for dogs of all sizes and at every life stage. Just like you, your dog is unique, and their nutritional needs vary based on their environment, age, and activity. of the animal.
