Characteristics

Beaphar Lactol Puppy Milk is a complementary food for weaning puppies, pregnant or lactating bitches, or sick dogs. It is enriched with DHA, which is naturally present in breast milk. It can be used as a complete food for orphaned puppies from birth up to 35 days of age and also as a complementary food for puppies from large litters, lactating puppies, pregnant or lactating mothers, sick or convalescent adults. Cow's milk does not contain all the necessary proteins and oils. Beaphar Lactol provides the correct supply of oils, vitamins and minerals.

Directions for use

Add Lactol Puppy Milk to warm (not boiling) water and stir until completely dissolved. Allow to cool to body temperature (38°C or blood temperature). Older animals may prefer cold Lactol. The use of appropriate feeding equipment is highly recommended, such as the Beaphar Nursing Set. These should always be clean and sterile, especially for young animals. Prepared Lactol Puppy Milk can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours, but should be warmed to body temperature for puppies before use. Always keep fresh drinking water available.
