A dog's nutritional needs do not include carbohydrates, and their content in their diet is Low or no carbohydrates. Carbohydrates have been known to be a major cause of obesity and diabetes '€“ yet, common dog foods often contain over 50% carbohydrates.
For this reason, Acana limits the overall carbohydrate content and replaces quickly digested carbohydrates, such as rice, tapioca, and potatoes, with low-glycemic fruits and vegetables, such as squash and other greens. The latter enters the bloodstream slowly, helping to avoid spikes in blood glucose levels and reducing the potential for fat accumulation.

Directions for Use
Acana is perfect for dogs of all sizes and at every life stage. Just like you, your dog is unique, and their nutritional needs vary based on their environment, age, and activity.
Use a standard 250 ml/120 g scoop. Serve dry or slightly moistened. We recommend regular visits to your veterinarian. To maintain product freshness, we recommend carefully resealing the bag and storing it in a cool, dry place.
