Product Description

Spot-on solution for medium-sized dogs (10/20 kg) to be used against infestations by fleas alone or in combination with ticks and/or biting lice.

Characteristics

Treatment of fleas (Ctenocephalides spp.): The insecticidal efficacy against new infections with adult fleas persists for 8 weeks. Prevention of flea multiplication by inhibiting the development of eggs (ovicidal activity), larvae and pupae (larvicidal activity) from eggs laid by adult fleas for six weeks after application.

Treatment of ticks (Ixodes ricinus, Dermacentor variabilis, Dermacentor reticulatus, Rhipicephalus sanguineus). The product has persistent acaricidal efficacy for up to 4 weeks against ticks.

Treatment of biting lice infestations (Trichodectes canis).

Fipronil 134 mg; S-methoprene 120.6mg

Directions for use

• Administer by topical application to the skin: one pipette of 1.34 ml (134 mg fipronil + 120.6 mg S-methoprene) per dog weighing 10 to 20 kg.
• This corresponds to the minimum recommended dose of 6.7 mg/kg fipronil and 6 mg/kg S-methoprene, for topical administration to the skin.
• In the absence of safety studies, the minimum treatment interval is 4 weeks.
• Remove the pipette from the pouch. Hold the pipette upright, twist and remove the cap.
• Invert the cap and replace it on the other end of the pipette. Press and twist the cap to break the seal, then remove the cap from the pipette.
• Apply to the skin at the base of the neck in front of the shoulder blades.
• Part the animal's coat on the back until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the pipette on the skin and squeeze the pipette several times to empty its contents completely and directly onto the skin in one spot.

Warnings

Temporary changes to the hair coat at the application site (clumps/grease in the hair) may be observed. For external use only.
