Characteristics

Zeta Max from the FitoFito line by Trebifarma is a natural repellent against sandflies, mosquitoes, horseflies and flies and is used against infestations by biting insects. Based on natural plant extracts, it can be sprayed several times a day and for greater effectiveness against biting insects it is useful to apply it especially in the most delicate and easily attacked areas such as the abdomen, tips of the ears, nose.

Directions for use

• In the first few days it can be sprayed several times a day, but then it is effective if sprayed even just twice a week;
• To improve its diffusion through the lipid film, apply the product in contact with the skin, possibly spraying it at the base of the hair;
• For greater effectiveness against biting insects, it is useful to apply it especially in the most sensitive areas; delicate and easily attacked areas such as the abdomen, ear tips, nose;
• It is used alone or, if necessary, together with other synthetic pesticides.

Special uses

• In the case of skin lesions infested by fly or dipteran larvae, after careful trichotomy and grooming of the lesion, removal of the dipteran larvae, apply directly to the affected area and to the surrounding areas of the animal's skin and coat; this will prevent new attacks by flies and new egg laying;
• In case of cutaneous myiasis of the tips of the auricles caused by bites mainly by horse flies (Stomoxys calcitrans), it is useful to apply it directly to the affected areas in order to limit the attack of the blood-sucking flies and the consequent bleeding lesions;
• In case of subjects sensitive to the problem, preventive application of the product is useful, before the lesions appear.
