Directions for application

Exspot must be applied directly to the dog's skin, avoiding contact with the fur. For correct administration:

• Open the bag and remove the pipette.
• Hold the animal upright.
• Hold the pipette vertically, away from the face, and break off the upper end.
• Part the fur until the skin is visible and place the tip of the pipette directly on the skin.

The dosage varies based on the dog's weight:

• Dogs between 2.5 kg and 14 kg: 1 pipette of 1 ml. Apply the entire contents to the skin on the back, between the shoulder blades.
• Dogs between 15 kg and 29 kg: 2 pipettes of 1 ml or 1 pipette of 2 ml. Apply the contents to two spots along the dorsal line (between the shoulder blades and on the rump, at the base of the tail).
• Dogs between 30 kg and 40 kg: 3 x 1 ml pipettes. Apply the contents to three spots along the dorsal line, from the shoulder blades to the rump.
• Dogs between 41 kg and 55 kg: 2 x 2 ml pipettes. Apply the contents to four spots along the dorsal line, from the shoulder blades to the rump.

Regular use, at monthly intervals, provides protection for up to 4 weeks. Exspot can be applied at intervals of no less than 2 weeks. To prevent reinfestation, it is recommended to treat all pets and the household.

Contraindications and Warnings

• Do not use on puppies under 18 years of age. Less than 2 weeks.
• Extremely toxic to cats: Do not use on cats and prevent them from coming into contact with recently treated dogs or licking the application site. Keep treated dogs away from cats until completely dry.
• Do not apply to sick, convalescent, or severely damaged skin.
• Do not use in case of known hypersensitivity to the active ingredient (permethrin) or any of the excipients.
• Treated dogs should not enter water for 12 hours after treatment. Bathing and sponging may reduce the protection period.
• Do not apply more than 12 hours after treatment. 4 times in 3 months for precautionary reasons.
• Avoid contact of the product with the dog's eyes and mouth.

Precautions for Use by the Operator

• Use protective gloves to avoid direct contact with skin, eyes, and mucous membranes.
• Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water after each application.
• Do not touch the application area for 3-6 hours after treatment.

• Treated dogs should not sleep with people, especially children, until the application site is dry.
• Do not eat, drink, or smoke during application.
• In case of accidental ingestion or contact with skin or eyes, consult your veterinarian or a doctor, showing the container or label.
• Do not contaminate food, drinks, or containers.

Adverse Reactions and Overdose

The active ingredient permethrin may cause skin hypersensitivity (itching, dermatitis, redness) and hyperactivity. In rare cases, hypersalivation, gastrointestinal symptoms (vomiting, diarrhea), or neurological symptoms (tremors, ataxia) may occur. In such cases, wash the animal thoroughly and consult your veterinarian.

In case of overdose, symptoms are similar to those described for adverse reactions. There is no specific antidote for pyrethroid poisoning.

Pregnancy, Lactation, and Interactions

• Do not use on lactating bitches.
• On pregnant bitches, use only after a risk/benefit assessment by your veterinarian.
• Do not use simultaneously with other antiparasitics.
