The product boasts a dual action targeted against blood-sucking arthropods. Not only does it act as a powerful insecticide and acaricide with prolonged contact times, but it also exerts a rapid irritant effect, known as the antifeeding effect. This prevents insects from feeding, effectively repelling them and protecting your horse from annoying bites.

Directions for use

For optimal application and to maximize the effectiveness of Equi-Spot, we recommend carefully following these instructions:

• Apply the contents of a 10 ml pipette to the animal.
• Distribute 5 ml along the back line, starting from the head (between the ears), continuing along the base of the mane and the midline of the dorsal line to the pelvis (base of the tail).
• Apply 1 ml to the upper part of the forehead, under the forelock.
• Distribute 1 ml to the back of each forelimb, between the knee and the fetlock (for a total of 2 ml).
• Apply 1 ml to the back of each hind limb, between the hock and the fetlock (for a total of 2 ml). (a total of 2 ml).

Warnings

• Do not wash the horse the day before and the day after treatment to avoid compromising the absorption and effectiveness of the product.
• It is strongly recommended to apply the product in the evening. Permethrin, one of the active ingredients, is photosensitive, and evening application reduces the risk of dermatitis at the treated areas.
