Features

EPIGEL® TUBO is a gel for ophthalmic use indicated for dogs, cats, non-DPA horses and pet rabbits. The presence of Carbomer 0.2% with mucoadhesive properties and the particular composition forms a stable gel in contact with the ocular surface, with an intense and long-lasting lubricating and hydrating action, providing immediate relief in cases of severe dry eyes and associated environmental stress.

Composition

Carbomer 0.2% (w/v), Cetrimide, Sorbitol, Sodium hydroxide, Disodium edetate, Water for injections.

Directions for use

• Remove the cap and take the body of the tube between the thumb and forefinger of the dominant hand;
• Hold the animal's head still, containing the muzzle with the non-dominant hand;
• Place the dominant hand sideways over the animal's head so that you can gently pull the upper eyelid with the outer edge of the little finger to facilitate exposure of the eye;
• Place the bottle over the eye and instill a quantity of gel necessary to cover the oculoconjunctival surface by applying light pressure on the body of the tube. Massage the eyelid gently to facilitate the uniform distribution of the gel;
• Apply 2-3 times a day;
• Reward the animal after application.

Warnings

Ophthalmic product for external veterinary use.

• Avoid touching the eye with the tip of the tube.
• Do not use the product after the expiry date shown on the package.
• Allow 15 minutes to pass between the instillation of Epigel Tubo and any instillation of drugs or products for external ophthalmic use.
• Do not use in case of subjective hypersensitivity or known incompatibility to any component of the preparation.
• Use the bottle within 28 days of first opening.
• Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
• Store below 30°C. below 25°C.
• Do not dispose of the container in the environment after use.

Storage

Store below 25°C.
Shelf life with intact packaging: 36 months.
Shelf life after opening: 28 days.
