Characteristics

Essential Cane Epato is the complementary food, essential for integrating the homemade, elimination, or boneless BARF diet of adult dogs, to promote correct liver function. Vitamin E, Vitamin C, selenium, and milk thistle extract, a source of silymarin, perform a hepatoprotective action thanks to their antioxidant function. Increased copper concentrations in the liver are toxic: in these conditions, it is necessary to reduce the risk of liver damage. It is therefore good for the diet to be low in copper and rich in zinc, which helps limit its intestinal absorption. For this reason, Essential Epato is formulated without added copper and with high levels of zinc. It contains vitamins, macroelements, and trace minerals, which are normally lacking in home-made diets. The antioxidant nutrients support the immune system; the correct ratio of calcium, phosphorus, and vitamin D contribute to the well-being of the skeletal system, avoiding the risk of deficiencies or possible excesses.
