Characteristics

Anemic is a supplement that provides the main production factors of red blood cells and hemoglobin.

Iron is an integral part of hemoglobin; its deficiency causes hypochromic anemia. Copper is found in high levels in red blood cells in the form of erythro-cupreine and is part of cytochrome oxidase, enzymes responsible for cellular respiration. Its deficiency causes hypochromic anemia. Cobalt improves hematocrit and hemoglobin values, promoting the synthesis of cyanocobalamins by intestinal microorganisms. It stimulates the production of erythropoietin, which in turn enhances the absorption of iron by bone marrow cells. Its deficiency causes a decrease in erythropoiesis.

Vitamin B12 is essential for the synthesis of hemoglobin and nucleic acids; its deficiency causes megaloblastic anemia. Folic Acid is an anti-anemic factor, and its deficiency causes megaloblastic anemia. Vitamin C reduces iron to ferric ion (Fe+++), improving its intestinal absorption.

This product is Formulated to promote the production of red blood cells and/or hemoglobin in sport horses, mares, and foals.

Directions for use

• Adult horses: 2 sachets per day
• Foals: 1-2 sachets per day
