Product Description

Solution with antiseptic activity useful for reducing the microbial load and stabilizing the ocular surface.

Indications

Visuprime is a sterile lubricating ophthalmic solution, isotonic and buffered at physiological pH based on Poloxamer 407, Polyquaternary 133 and disodium EDTA.
Thanks to the presence of poloxamer 407, it creates a protective mechanical-physical barrier that lubricates and stabilizes the tear film, reducing tear evaporation and the risk of microbial contamination.
It is useful in counteracting the symptoms of ocular discomfort associated with inflammatory phenomena, even on an infectious basis and in pre and post surgery.
Finally, the presence of a saline buffer system helps maintain the pH at physiological values, regulating tear osmolarity.

The product is a CE Medical Device.

Composition

PQ133 100 mg, poloxamer 407 4,500 mg, disodium EDTA 100 mg, buffered isotonic solution q.s. to 100 ml.

Directions for use and Dosage

Instill 1 or 2 drops twice a day into the conjunctival sac of each eye or as directed by your doctor.

• Remove the protective cap.
• Instill 1 or 2 drops into the conjunctival sac of the affected eye by pulling the lower eyelid slightly downwards and looking upwards.
• After use, immediately close the bottle: the solution may be reused within 28 days after first opening.

Warnings

Do not use the product if you are allergic or hypersensitive to any of the components.
Do not use the bottle if damaged or not perfectly closed when opened for the first time.
Do not use with contact lenses.
Instill the product at least 10 minutes after using other ophthalmic medications.
Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the package.
The expiry date refers to the product in its intact packaging and stored correctly.
The product maintains its sterility for up to 28 days after first opening the bottle.
Use the product within 28 days of first opening the bottle.
Wash your hands before applying the product.
Do not touch your eyes or any other surface with the tip of the bottle.

Keep out of reach of children.
Ophthalmic use, do not swallow.
The product is intended for single patient use.
Do not dispose of the bottle in the environment after use.
Excess unused product must be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.
It is not recommended for use in pregnant or breastfeeding women and in individuals under 18 years of age.
In case of adverse effects, discontinue treatment and consult your doctor.

Storage

Store at 2°C to 8°C.
Shelf life after opening: 28 days.
