Max Defense Strong Spray protects the user against bites from common mosquitoes, Anopheles mosquitoes (carriers of the parasite that can cause malaria) for an average of 10 hours and Aedes mosquitoes (carriers of the yellow fever virus) for an average of 9 hours, and against Ixodes ticks (carriers of the bacterium that can cause Lyme disease) for 5 hours.
The protection period against some more aggressive tropical tick species may be shorter.
Components
100 g of product contain:
N,N-diethyl-m-toluamide 50.0 g, coformulants q.s. a. (ethanol 50.0 g).
Directions for use
Gas-free spray for skin use.
Apply the product carefully and in small quantities to uncovered parts of the body, then distribute evenly over the skin. Do not apply the product more than once a day.

To protect the face from stings, apply the product first to the palm of the hand and then spread it over the face.
Do not spray directly onto the face.
If the product is used in combination with tanning creams, apply the sunscreen first and wait 30 minutes before applying the product.
Do not use on individuals under 18 years of age.
Wear long trousers and/or a long-sleeved shirt.
Do not apply under clothing. Do not apply the product to areas that are normally in motion due to joint flexion, such as behind the knees or on the inside of the elbow.
Avoid contact with eyes, mucous membranes, nose, lips, and broken skin.
Keep the spray at least 15 cm away from the skin.
Avoid contact with food.
Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water before eating or drinking.
Wash the skin to remove the product if mosquito or tick protection is no longer required or if irritation occurs.
Avoid contact with synthetic materials (e.g., spectacle frames), leather or synthetic clothing, and lacquered surfaces.
The product is not recommended for use by risk groups, pregnant or breastfeeding women.
Do not use on broken skin (cuts, scrapes, burns).

In case of inhalation: Move the victim to fresh air and place in a position comfortable for breathing. Consult a doctor if the person feels unwell.
In case of contact with eyes: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes.

Continue rinsing.
In case of ingestion: Give one or two glasses of water to drink, rinse the mouth and induce vomiting by inserting your fingers into the throat.
Do not induce vomiting or put objects in the mouth if the person is unconscious.
Consult a doctor immediately if the person feels unwell.
In case of contact with open wounds: rinse thoroughly with water.
Consult a doctor if irritation persists.
