Colpharma sonic mosquito repellent wristband, sonic emissions are low-frequency sounds, usually slightly audible to the human ear but very annoying to some insects, including mosquitoes. Anti-mosquito sonic emissions reproduce the sound of male mosquitoes' wings, driving away female mosquitoes, those that "bite" in search of the blood needed for reproduction and egg development.
To ensure greater repellent effectiveness and prevent mosquitoes from becoming habituated, a new variable sonic emission technology with modulated frequencies and intensities has been developed.
The sonic waves radiate into the area starting from a source point and propagating in a circular fashion. The sonic waves attenuate with distance. Variable sonic waves, at the right frequency and with the correct waveform, guarantee an excellent repellent effect, especially for mosquitoes. Since they are slightly audible, the intensity can be varied up to 3 levels according to your preference. If used at home, especially in the bedroom, it is recommended to set the device to maximum intensity before bedtime and to minimum once in bed.
