Recommendations for use

1. For correct consumption of the wax, it is advisable to leave the WookWick lit for 3-4 hours;
2. To avoid the formation of wax residues on the edges, keep the flame lit for at least 30/60 minutes or until completely melted from the center to the edge;
3. The height of the flame can vary, so even if it appears very faint, do not extinguish the candle if the wax continues to melt properly; the flame will restore itself;
4. Shorten the wick. For correct operation, we recommend: for WoodWick Hourglass candles, shortening the wick by about 6mm before each lighting; for WoodWick Ellipse candles, this will only be necessary if there is excessive wick remaining after the previous lighting. To shorten the wick, simply gently remove the burnt edges with a cloth or paper towel. Do this with the flame out and the wax cold;
5. When the residual wax is about 6mm from the bottom, it is advisable to stop use. Your WoodWick can be disposed of according to local waste disposal instructions or used as a decorative object.

Warnings

Always exercise caution when the flame is lit, do not leave the candle near flammable materials, and keep it away from children and pets and away from drafts. Always handle the candle with the flame out and when the wax is not hot.
