The Zanzarella bracelets are made of silicone and are soaked in a mix of natural essences such as Citronella, Geraniol and Lavender with widely demonstrated insect repellent properties, especially against all mosquito species, including the tiger mosquito. The bracelet is placed in contact with the liquid fragrance and the silicone oil inside the bracelet solubilizes a quantity of around 3% of this fragrance which then, thanks to its characteristics and the system in which it is located, is gradually released over the 12 hours following the opening of the package. The mosquito, detecting the fragrance molecules with its sensors, feels a "sense of danger" and moves away. Made for wrists, ankles, or to hold back hair.
Zanzarella bracelets are made of pure, non-toxic silicone. It is a material widely used for food purposes and in the manufacturing of infant items such as pacifiers and teats. This material is composed of three substances in particular: pure silicone, silicon dioxide (sand), and silicone oil. The silicone oil, also completely non-toxic, serves to absorb the natural fragrance with which these bracelets are imbued.
