Indications
Zixol is an isotonic, buffered tear substitute, with transparency and viscosity characteristics that guarantee maximum comfort of use, indicated for corneal protection.
Zixol, in addition to containing hyaluronic acid as a physiological and lubricating substance, also contains zinc sulfate, which is already present in ocular tissue at high concentrations.
The combined hydrating action of hyaluronic acid and zinc sulfate can It can be advantageously used to moisten and lubricate the surface of the eye in case of dry eye caused by various factors such as: stress, wind, smog, strong artificial light, use of video terminals, use of contact lenses, long periods of driving, non-pathological traumatic alterations, post-surgery with excimer laser and other situations of alterations in normal tear function.
Ingredients
100 ml of solution contain: Sodium Chloride 0.80 g, Sodium citrate tribasic dihydrate 0.20 g, Hyaluronic Acid 0.15 g, Zinc sulphate heptahydrate 0.035 g, Citric acid 0.003 g, purified water to taste. to 100 ml.
Directions for use and Dosage
Before use, make sure the multi-dose container is intact. Detach the container from the strip, open the cap, taking care to store it with the base raised.
Instill one or more drops in each eye.
Reclose the container with the top of the cap. Zixol can be used for multiple daily administrations.
Use within 12 hours of opening.
After instillation, normal vision returns after a few minutes.
The drops produced by gravity are carefully pre-dosed by the shape of the bottle itself.
Contraindications
Known hypersensitivity to the components of the solution.
