Product Description

Zincgel Elastica Alegro is a zinc oxide bandage for support and compression, used for the management of phlebological diseases and for support bandages in cases of trauma.

Indications

Class I Medical Device (Directive 93/42/EEC). Single use. Non-sterile.
Zinc oxide bandage. Support and compression bandage. Easy to apply, skin-friendly, gelatin-free. It has high adhesiveness at the edges, which do not fray. Low-moisture bandage. and quick-drying.
Used in the management and treatment of phlebological diseases such as: venous ulcers, venous edema, thrombophlebitis. For support and relief bandages in the treatment of dislocations, sprains, bruises, tenosynovitis. Recommended after removal of cast bandages and in the management of post-traumatic edema.
Latex-free.

Composition

61% viscose, 39% polyamide.

Composition of zinc oxide paste:

Zinc oxide, hydrocolloids, dextrins, glycerin, purified water; Preservatives: E 216, E 218.

Zinc oxide paste: 78% ±2%

Directions for use

Cover with a tubular bandage to prevent staining of clothing. To prolong the cooling effect and avoid skin irritation, keep the bandage moist every day. If the bandage is too stiff or too dry to remove, moisten with warm water.
Single-use product. Always apply to clean, dry skin. Do not apply the bandage with excessive tension to avoid constricting ties. To secure dressings, apply the bandage without tension from the center to the end of the dressing. Never connect the end and pull the bandage to secure the end. (may cause skin damage).

Warnings

Contraindications

Do not use in case of:

• Peripheral arterial disease;
• Myocardial insufficiency;
• Septic phlebitis;
• On patients with arterial disease;
• On diabetic patients with advanced vascular disease.

Storage

Store in a cool (between 5°C and 30°C), dry place.
Shelf life: 12 months. Unopened package: 36 months.
