Nebulizing solution useful for the respiratory tract.
A study conducted on 75 pediatric patients with recurrent upper respiratory tract conditions evaluated the efficacy of nebulized sodium hyaluronate, a wetting agent obtained from the reaction between hyaluronic acid and sodium. Administered in combination with a saline solution, the nebulizer was shown to induce improvements in various clinical parameters considered, compared to treatment with saline solution alone. IBSA's proposal for the use of hyaluronic acid by aerosolization inside the nasal cavities is represented by Yabro, a medical device containing a sterile isotonic solution of 0.3% hyaluronic acid salt. Periodic nebulizations with hyaluronic acid facilitate the removal of allergens and the restoration of mucociliary clearance, essential for the health of the respiratory system, especially in the post-operative phase of endonasal interventions.
Do not use with ultrasound devices.
