Indications

Xioglican gel is a medical device in gel for topical use based on galactosaminoglycan polysulfate, hyaluronic acid and other components with high hydrating and soothing activity useful for restoring the physiological condition of the skin, even in cases where it is altered by peripheral circulatory diseases or by edema and hematomas.

It helps in the prevention and local treatment of skin alterations (dystrophies, dyschromia, xerosis, desquamation, dryness), also associated with the presence of venous diseases (venous varices, phlebitis and superficial thrombophlebitis) and the hydration of the skin in these situations.
Local treatment of edema and hematomas induced by trauma and bruises superficial.

Composition

Galactosaminoglycan polysulfate, hyaluronic acid sodium salt, isopropyl alcohol, 1,2-propylene glycol, carbomer, isopropyl myristate, sodium hydroxide, lavender essence, purified water.

Directions for use and Dosage

To open the tube for the first time, pierce the protective membrane using the perforator contained in the upper part of the closing cap.
Apply the gel, in an amount suitable for the surface of the skin to be treated and the surrounding areas, generally 4-6 cm of gel, massaging gently until completely absorbed.
Repeat the application up to 3 times a day.
Close the tube carefully after each use.
Continue treatment until the symptoms disappear, gradually reducing the number of daily applications.

Warnings

If the symptoms persist or no improvement is noted after 10 days of treatment, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
The product is for external use only, use only on intact skin, do not apply in case of bleeding, on open wounds and mucous membranes, as well as on sites of infection and in case of suppurative processes.
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity or individual allergy to one or more components of the product. XIOGLICAN Gel contains propylene glycol which can cause irritation.
Prolonged use of topical products can give rise to sensitization phenomena; If these phenomena occur, it is advisable to suspend treatment and consult your doctor or pharmacist.
In case of pregnancy, breastfeeding, or concomitant topical therapies, use should be carried out only under the supervision of a doctor.
Do not use the product on children under 14 years of age.
Keep the product out of the sight and reach of children.
Do not use the device beyond the expiry date.
Do not use the product if the container is damaged or not perfectly closed when first opened.

No side effects associated with the use of the product are foreseeable. Any side effects associated with the use of the device should be reported to your doctor or pharmacist.

Storage

Store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.
The expiry date refers to the intact and correctly stored product.
The product has a shelf life of 6 months after first opening.
The expiration date is shown on the packaging.
Shelf life from the production date, in unopened packaging: 24 months.
