Xiloial CE Medical Device

Moisturizing and lubricating ophthalmic solution containing lubricating and protective substances: Hyaluronic acid, mucomimetic, lubricant, Ts-Polysaccharide, protective and balancing. Xiloial mono is an ophthalmic solution based on Ts-Polysaccharide (TSP), containing high molecular weight hyaluronic acid, obtained by biotechnological synthesis. Hyaluronic acid is a substance that gives rise to mucomimetic solutions, with high lubricating properties; the viscosity of these solutions is such as to allow a hydrating effect and stabilization of the tear film. Ts-Polysaccharide is a plant substance, extracted from the seeds of the tamarind plant (Tamarindus Indica), useful for protecting the corneal-conjunctival surface. Ts-Polysaccharide forms a protective film on the ocular surface that helps restore the normal physiological balance of the tear film and the ocular surface. The combination of the two substances therefore allows for a synergistic protection of the corneal/conjunctival surface from irritation caused by physical environmental factors (wind, prolonged exposure to sunlight, cigarette smoke, dry air), visual stress (intense eye strain, computer screens), or mechanical factors (contact lenses, eye surgery).

Directions for use

Administer one drop of Xiloial multidose into the eye, applying light pressure to the body of the bottle. This can be repeated several times a day, as needed.

Warnings

The product is for external ophthalmic use only. After administration, temporary blurred vision may occur, which disappears within a few minutes. It is advisable to wait for the blurred vision to disappear before undertaking any activity requiring clear vision (driving, operating machinery, etc.). Do not use if you are known to be incompatible with any component of the preparation. Allow 10-15 minutes between instilling Xiloial and any other medications for external ophthalmic use. Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the package. Do not use the product during or just before wearing contact lenses. Keep out of reach of children. Do not ingest.

Storage

Store below 25°C. The product must be used within 30 days of first opening the bottle. Do not dispose of the bottle in the environment after use.

Hyaluronic acid; TSP; mannitol; sodium phosphate monobasic monohydrate; sodium phosphate dibasic dodecahydrate; disodium edetate; benzalkonium chloride; water for injections.
