Wrist immobilization brace
Indications
The Epitact Wrist-Hand immobilization brace is indicated for wrist trauma (acute phase): sprains, bruises. It can be used preventatively (occasionally in case of sequelae of trauma).
Specificity: The wrist immobilization brace opens widely to facilitate the passage of the hand. Equipped with reinforcements (dorsal and palmar splint) to offer the wrist an optimal position. The two symmetrical straps with Velcro closures allow the moldable reinforcement (palmar splint) to be centered under the palm of the hand, while the removable strap ensures an anatomical fit at the wrist: rigorous immobilization guaranteed.
Ergonomics: The reinforcement on the back of the hand has a recess that prevents stress on the prominent wrist bone (styloid). At the palm level, the aluminum splint is moldable and a removable spherical pad allows the hand to be adjusted to the resting position. Very lightweight and perfectly suited to different morphologies, the EPITACT® immobilization splint is ideal for all wrist types. It offers optimal comfort without hindering the movement of the fingers.
Composition
54% fabric (polyamide, elastane, polyester), 45% metal (aluminum, steel), 1% polyethylene.

Contraindications
Trauma requiring orthopedic treatment with plaster, resin, or surgery. The brace should not be placed in direct contact with a skin lesion.
Maintenance
Hand wash at 30°C with a mild soap, without detergents or bleach. Rinse well. Dry by pressing. Do not dry near direct heat sources (radiators, sunlight). Do not use stain removers.
