Red, Inflamed, and Itching Eyes
Visustrin Eye Drops are used in the treatment of hyperemia, itching, burning, and conjunctival edema.
Dosage and Directions for Use
Visustrin Eye Drops should be taken in the following doses and directions: 2 drops in each eye two or three times a day. Do not exceed the recommended dose.
Contraindications
- Known individual hypersensitivity to the active ingredient or to any of the excipients.
- It should not be used by subjects with glaucoma or other serious eye diseases and in children under three years of age.
Special warnings
In case of persistence or worsening of symptoms after a short period of treatment, consult your doctor; In any case, the product should not be used for more than four consecutive days, given the possibility that adverse effects may otherwise occur. Infections, pus, foreign bodies in the eye, mechanical, chemical, or heat damage require medical attention. The product, although poorly absorbed, should be used with caution in patients with hypertension, hyperthyroidism, heart disease, and hyperglycemia (diabetes), and in subjects undergoing treatment with antidepressants.
For athletes: unnecessary use of the drug constitutes doping and may result in a positive test result.
May cause eye irritation. Avoid contact with soft contact lenses. Remove contact lenses before application and wait at least 15 minutes before reinserting them. It is known to discolor soft contact lenses. Strictly adhere to the recommended dose. If accidentally ingested or used for a long time at excessive doses, the product may cause toxicity.
It should be kept out of reach of children as accidental ingestion may cause marked sedation.
Use in children: safety and efficacy in children have not been established. Use in children over three years of age requires medical approval.
If no relief is obtained within 48 hours of starting treatment, discontinue use and perform a thorough ophthalmological examination.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
In pregnant or breastfeeding women, the product should be administered only in cases of real need, under the direct supervision of a doctor.
Expiry and storage
See the expiry date on the package. The expiry date refers to the product in its intact packaging, stored correctly. Store at a temperature not exceeding 25°C.
Warning: Do not use the medicine after the expiry date shown on the package.
