Hypotonic, viscous wetting gel with 0.2% Carbomer 980. Visco-Vision Gel shows excellent mucoadhesive properties.
Visco-Vision Gel thanks to its wetting effect, acts uniformly on the surface of the cornea and conjunctiva, ensuring beneficial and prolonged hydration of the eye.
It can be used for the following indications:
Carbomer 980 (0.2%), sorbitol, sodium hydroxide, disodium ededate, cetrimide (0.01%) and purified water.
Before using Visco-Vision Gel, wash your hands thoroughly.
To open the tube, turn the screw cap counterclockwise until the safety seal breaks. After opening the tube for the first time, remove the safety ring.
Step 1: Tilt your head back slightly (nape position) and use your free hand to gently pull down your lower eyelid.
Step 2: Hold the tube vertically, with the opening facing downwards, above your eye. Press lightly on the tube until a small drop forms at the tip. Apply the drop to the conjunctival sac of the affected eye, avoiding touching the eye with the tip of the tube.
Step 3: Close your eyes two or three times to evenly distribute the gel over the surface of the eye.
After use, close the tube with the protective cap, taking care not to touch anything with the tip (not even your finger).
Do not crush or roll the tube to avoid damaging it.
Apply Visco-Vision Gel as needed or as directed by your eye doctor.
In general, for adults and children, we recommend applying 1 drop 3-4 times a day.
Visco-Vision® Gel is suitable for prolonged use.
However, as with all other diseases, if the symptoms persist, it is advisable to consult an eye doctor. If further local eye treatment is required, wait approximately 30 minutes between two applications.
Visco-Vision Gel should be applied after other products.
Do not use the product if the tube or safety cap are damaged.
Do not touch the eye with the tip of the tube, to avoid infection or injury to the eye.
The tip of the tube must not come into contact with other objects or parts of the body, to avoid bacterial contamination of the gel.
Remove contact lenses before use and reinsert them only after waiting at least 30 minutes.
Do not use Visco-Vision Gel after the expiry date, which is indicated on the fold of the tube and on the packaging.
For hygiene reasons, the same tube of Visco-Vision Gel should not be used by more than one patient.
If eye problems persist while using Visco-Vision®, consult a doctor immediately. Gel or recur after discontinuation, consult your eye doctor.
