Indications for Use
- For a compression of 10-15 mmHg: Ideal for the prevention of edema caused by prolonged standing.
- For a compression of 15-20 mmHg: Recommended for telangiectasia, varicose veins with a diameter of less than 3 mm and for air travel, offering essential support.
Contraindications
Use is not recommended in the presence of acute dermo-hypodermitis, skin infections, advanced obliterating arteriopathy, edema of non-venous origin or in case of known contact allergy to elastic supports. Always consult a doctor if in doubt.
Duration and Method of Use Treatment Information
Compression treatment with Varisan® stockings should be performed exclusively during the daytime. It is recommended to put the stocking on in the morning, preferably before getting up, and to remove it in the evening, before going to bed. During the night, in fact, the compression may be excessive. For short afternoon naps, it is not necessary to remove the stocking. To maximize the benefits, it is recommended to walk as much as possible during the day.
